Development Projects

A variety of development activities are carried out by the International Tennis Federation, and member nations can apply to benefit from them depending on their eligibility status. These activities fall under seven key pillars, listed below with examples of projects carried out in Europe:

Participation

These projects assist federations in terms of Coaching, Management and Administration, and in the organisation of Junior Competitions

Junior Tennis Initiatives

Nations may apply for equipment for junior tennis programmes, such as slower balls and smaller courts for 'Tennis 10s'  

Facility Grants

Assistance may be provided for specific projects, such as renovations or repairs of key tennis facilities.

Pro Circuit Tournament Grants

Grants to assist with the staging of ITF Men's and/or Women's Circuit events.

Player Training & Regional Training Centres

Financial support for the construction of training centres, and helping players to attend.

Direct support for the most talented players.

Touring Teams

Providing the opportunity for players to participate in specially-selected ITF teams, which travel to a series of high-level junior tournaments and receive expert coaching.
